Lynn M. Meyer, age 77 of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Memorial Service will be Saturday, October 17th at 12:00 noon at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 800 Bellevue Road, Nashville, TN 37221, with Rev. Phillip Young officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 17th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon at the church.
Kay “Carolyn” Reese, age 76 of Madison, passed away peacefully September 28, 2020. Carolyn was born on October 29, 1943 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Martin and Ethel O’Brien. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister; she was a longtime member of Madison Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Reese. She is survived by her children, Karen Carter, Joel Reese, Audra May, and Shannon Dowell; grandchildren, Tristan Reese, Chad Carter, Kerry Dowell, Cheyenne Dowell, Mandy Connor (Chase), Austin Carter (Amanda), China Dowell, Robert May, and Lexi Prince; great-grandchildren, Tristan Dowell, Charlie Dowell and Brody Foster. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 1st at 1:00 P.M. in the Bixler Chapel at Madison Church of Christ with Bro. Jason Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. and Thursday from 11 A.M. until service time all at the church. James Otis Gourley, age 95 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020. Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be Monday, October 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Historic Gallatin Cemetery, with Rev. Malcolm Patton and Rev. James Johnson officiating. Honoring him as pallbearers are Larry Salyer, Curtis Malone, Allen Parks, David Schreiner, Cameron Crutcher, Jason Jones, and Michael Carman.
