The Preserving Your Family History event will be Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Tulip Grove Mansion at the Hermitage. The event will be free and open to the public. The Hermitage story is not just about Andrew Jackson and his family. In fact, the Jackson family story cannot be told without the stories of the enslaved who lived and worked at the Hermitage. The Hermitage Community Center behind the library has bridge each Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There’s no charge, but attendees should bring their own lunch. New players are welcome.
