We welcomed Story to Nashville Humane Association last month from the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center. The BRC helped Story learn that unfamiliar people, objects, sounds and real-life situations weren’t as scary as she believed them to be. Now a graduate of their program, Story is looking for a forever home.

While Story still needs time and patience when meeting new people, she loves other dogs and would gain a lot of confidence from having a canine buddy. She also loves to go on walks and is crate trained (she views her crate as her safe space). Her favorite toys are plushy ones that squeak, and she adores food puzzles that challenge her to find her treats. Story is going to be a wonderful addition to a family willing to continue building her confidence.

She’s a funny girl with a silly personality that she’ll show you once she’s comfortable. She’s 2 years old and weighs just 40 pounds. This Story is ready for the forever home happy ending.

Please visit her at NHA! We are open for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
