"Amazing Grace" took on new meaning during Carrie Underwood's Easter Sunday concert at the Ryman Auditorium.
Featuring performances from her recently released gospel album, Underwood and her team virtually raised $101,000 for Save the Children, which aims to ensure children in 100 countries "grow up healthy, educated and safe," particularly in crisis-stricken areas of the world.
“It means so much to be able to bring this event to people in their homes on a day that holds so much meaning for us spiritually," Underwood said in a prepared news release. "And to be able to raise much needed funds and awareness for the incredible work of Save the Children as we celebrate the importance of family."
The concert was livestreamed to the world via Facebook and will remain available 48 hours from Sunday night.
"My Savior," which features Underwood's take on a plethora of gospel standards, was released March 26.
