Two McGavock High School students died after a midday May 6 single-car crash in the 2500 block of Couchville Pike.

A third passenger and classmate remained in treatment at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

According to Metro Nashville police, the driver, Kevin Duke Jr., 18, of Nashville, died at the scene, and two of his classmates in the car were critically injured. The front passenger, Aidan Sullivan, 17, of Nashville, died Friday afternoon at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, according to police.
