The Donelson Christian Academy and White House Heritage basketball teams split a doubleheader in Robertson County on Dec. 5.

The Lady Patriots (4-2) used a 15-point outing from senior Kelsey Russell to take a 48-28 victory over Donelson Christian. Staten Holmes also finished in double figures for Heritage, while Alex Green added eight points.

Maddie Rae McGuire led Donelson Christian (3-1) with 10 points. Jaylee Lopez chipped in seven points. 

On the boys side, DCA (4-0) stayed undefeated. Junior Ben Singer dropped 25 points, including 20 in the second half, to propel the Wildcats to a 52-40 win over Heritage.

DCA senior guard Parker Howell also finished in double figures with 15 points. Jaden Carman added six.

Heritage (2-4) lost its third straight game. Jared Brummett led the Patriots with nine points, while Val Courtney and Blake McDonald added eight apiece. 

The Patriots were set to battle Creek Wood on Friday, before traveling to Portland on Dec. 10. DCA traveled to Valor Collegiate on Friday and will also hit the road to play Goodpasture on Dec. 10.
