POSSUMTOWN—The difference came down to the fourth period as Donelson Christian knocked off Friendship Christian 53-42 last Friday night on the road. 

The two teams were neck-in-neck leading up to the final stanza of the game when Donelson Christian (8-15, 3-10) outscored Friendship (4-18, 3-10) 19-12 to pick up the win. 

The Lady Wildcats jumped out to a 15-14 lead at the end of the first. Donelson Christian went on an 11-9 run in the second to take a 26-23 lead at the half. The two teams scored eight points apiece in the third as Donelson Christian kept a narrow 34-30 lead, heading into the fourth. 

Sara McGlasson led the Lady Wildcats with 17 points. Anna Shrum and Sam Zapton each finished with 10 points. 

Rachel Pippin led Friendship with 17 points, followed by Savannah Craighead with 11. 

Donelson Christian fell to Clarksville Christian 49-45 on Saturday night. Friendship Christian also fell to Clarksville Academy 51-23 on Saturday night. 

Donelson Christian faced Davidson Academy on Tuesday night at home and will take on Ezell-Harding on Friday at home to close out the regular season. Friendship faced Mt. Juliet Christian on the road Tuesday night and will close out the regular season Friday night against Nashville Christian at home.
