WCHS honors Sydnee Richetto --

GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central junior guard Sydnee Richetto was recognized prior to Tuesday's season-opener versus Springfield with a ball to commemorate her reaching the 1,000-point mark in her career.

Making the presentation is WCHS assistant coach Jasmine Hassell Smith, the program's all-time leading scorer with over 2,400 points.

Fresh from scoring 24 points in Tuesday's 63-31 win over Springfield, Richetto presently ranks No. 6 on the school's all-time scoring list.

GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central opened the game on an 18-0 run and never looked back in Tuesday's 63-31 home win over Springfield in the 2019-2020 season opener for both programs.

The Lady Wildcats pushed the lead to 51-16 with 1:41 remaining in the third period.

Sydnee Richetto paced WCHS with 24 points while Sydney Dalton added 17 and Campbell Strange chipped in with 10.
